SLATEPORT'S BEACH IS LINED WITH SADDLED MANTINE. A surfing instructor named Angus awaits at the shore, waiting to see anyone would be brave and willing to try Mantine surfing tricks.[break][break]

After practicing your tricks, Angus implores you to dazzle the onlooking spectators with your newfound skills. Every trick he has taught or demonstrated has a set amount of points associated with them. He asks you all to aim for the highest score!

HOW TO PLAY

TO PLAY, please read the instructions below.[break][break]

• All of your characters can participate.
• You must POST with a ROLL. However, you must also select a TRICK YOUR CHARACTER WILL PERFORM (LIST BELOW) and include the TRICK IN YOUR POST, BOLDED OR IN THE NOTES.
• If your character SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMS THE TRICK by ROLLING WITHIN THE TRICK'S RESPECTIVE NUMERICAL RANGE, then your character will be able to earn POINTS.
• You CAN NOT ROLL and then edit your post.
• EDITS TO POSTS will be strictly monitored through the AUDIT LOG. Cheaters will be immediately banned from the event.
• Your POINTS ARE CUMULATIVE, meaning that they will add up throughout the entire event. Please keep track. Your total amount of points will allow you to redeem prices (rewards shown below).
• You can only POST ONCE PER DAY PER CHARACTER.

TRICKS

GOREBYSS/HUNTAIL SPIN[break](100 PTS)

the safest trick one can attempt. in the air, one must roll three times with their mantine. as a note, a gorebyss spiral consists of three left rolls while the huntail spiral consists of three right rolls before finishing with a double barrel roll.

roll between 1-100

LANTURN 360[break](500 PTS)

this trick is often used by surfers on the highest of waves. in order to perform the lanturn 360, surfers must do a back flip and front flip before transitioning into a full 360 flip in the air.

roll between 25-100

PRIMARINA TWIST[break](1000 PTS)

conversely, the primarina twist if often performed on low waves. to execute this trick, surfers must front flip two times before personally back flipping on to the gliding mantine's wide wingspan.

STARMIE 720[break](1750 PTS)

a nausea-inducing trick for the inexperienced, the starmie 720 features three rolls before spinning around fiercely in 720 degrees.

roll between 75-100

OVER-THE-GYARADOS[break](2500 PTS)

this notoriously difficult trick requires the surfer to back flip, right roll, and front flip before being launched mid-air to land on the flipping mantine's back.

roll between 85-100

MAGIKARP SPLASH[break](5000 PTS)

the most difficult of tricks. although deceptively simple, the form and precision required to perform this trick is almost impossible.

KEEP TRACK OF POINTS EARNED by successfully predicting and executing Mantine Surfing tricks. Keep track of your point totals, for they can be redeemed for rewards as shown below.[break][break]

These points function like milestone rewards. If your character manages to accomplish a PRIMARINA TWIST, netting 1000 POINTS, they will be able to redeem the 100 POINT, 500 POINT, and 1000 POINT rewards.
